The Graveyard at the Bottom of Gravity - Part Two (Juuryoku no Soko no Hakaba - Kō-hen) is the eighth episode of the animated series Galaxy Express 999. It premiered on 2 November 1978 on Fuji TV.
Summary[]
Ryuz demands that Tetsuro stay and live with her, as she can give him the mechanical body that he so desires. She explains that she has one, and was blackmailed into getting one by her former lover, but was then cast-aside and kicked to the curb. Tetsuro says he wants to get the body himself, which Ryuz understands, and allows him to return to the 999.
"Gravity itself makes the tiny planet in the bottom of gravity so small. Occasionally, within the darkness of a black hole, there lies a planet where lonely individuals live. Memories and sadness, bundled with regret, all form together to hide in obscurity inside of the darkness. Thati s the kind of planet it is.

Stop Time: temporary stop
A small planet that only Ryuz lives on. Ryuz’s house is surrounded by skeletons, and she claims that they are the remains of those who didn’t listen to what she had to say. Because of this, she used her ability to move time forward, killing all of them. Little else is known about the planet other than its lonely atmosphere.

Sister of Leyruz and a native of the Graveyard at the Bottom of Gravity, Ryuz has the special ability to advance time, an ability she uses to her advantage against those who oppose her. Ryuz has lived alone for the last 500 years. She used to be a human working as a dancer. She then met Clock, a man who paid for her transition to a mechanical body. Once everyone began to obtain a mechanical body, Clock no longer found her attractive and left her.

Voiced by: Kan Tokumaru
Clock meets Ryuz while she’s working her job singing in a bar, and ends up becoming her lover. He buys her a new mechanical body, but once they become more popular and everyone seems to have them, he abandons her for being old-fashioned. Clock is never heard from again, breaking Ryuz's heart. Clock is exclusive to the anime.
